Bogdan Nowicki

He was born in 1932. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts. He made his debut as a director in the Studio Miniatur Filmowych in 1959. Director, screenwriter, stage designer. “Dwa koty i pies” and series about “Koleś”, for example: “Koleś prowadzi samochód”.

Ela Wąsik

Polish director of animated films, screenwriter, graphic artist. She is an author of many animated films, including “Tailor’s Wedding” (“Ślub krawca”), “Vicious Circle” (“Błędne koło”), she is also an author of the TV series “Hip-Hip & Hurray” (“Hip-Hip i Hurra”). Currently she works with the Studio Miniatur Filmowych.

Halina Bielińska

Director of animated and feature films. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Before the World War II she was a journalist and a graphic artist. In 1949 in Switzerland she made her first animated film together with Włodzimierz Haupe. Since 1951 she was a screenwriter for Feature Film Production Company in Łódź.

Jan Lenica

Polish visual artist, screenwriter, art critic, director of animated films. He is one of the major artists of the Polish poster school. His posters, drawings and prints were shown at numerous exhibitions both in Poland and abroad. He was awarded many times for his visual art.

Jerzy Kalina

Director, animator, sculpture. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (1971). He created the monument built on the dam in Włocławek. The monument commemorates martyr death of Jerzy Popiełuszko.

Joanna Zacharzewska

She cooperated with the Studio Miniatur Filmowych on, amongst others: “Triumph of Mr. Kleks” (“Tryumf Pana Kleksa”) – 2001, she was responsible for scenes (in the animated part), visual shooting script, directing the animated part, animation, visual concept). “Witaminki” – 1988: script, directing; “Pomysłowy wnuczek”) – 1987 (animating the episodes: “Ogród dziadka”, “Włóczkowy obrazek”, “A jednak nie tonie”); “Pies i kot” – 1975 (animating the episodes: “Zajazd”, “Zagroda”, “Kuter”, “Plecak”, “Stacja benzynowa”)

Julian Antonisz

Recognized filmmaker who made animated and experimental movies, awarded at Polish and international film festivals. He was one of the co-founders of the Studio of Film Miniatures in Krakow. He was an inventor and a composer.

Krzysztof Dębowski

Director, stage designer and screenwriter of animated films. Member of the Polish Filmmaker Association.

Leszek Galewicz

Director of animated films. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (1964). Since 1964 he was cooperating with the Studio Miniatur Filmowych, at first as an animator and since 1971 as a director.

Leszek Kałuża

Animator, director, scriptwriter and the producer of cartoons. He was one of the first members in the newly opened studio in Katowice, and then in the Wisła and Bielsko.
In 1956 Witold Giersz and Leszek Kałuża created new studio of cartoons which later was named
Studio Miniatur Filmowych. There he made his first film as the director :”Tygrys” and “Niebo i piekło”.

Leszek Marek Gałysz

Director, author of visual projects, animator, producer. Since 1970 he has been cooperating with Studio Miniatur Filmowych in Warsaw. As a graphic artist he sometimes decides to design illustrations, cartoons or covers. Since 1991 he has been a producer, owner of the “J&P” company, co-owner of the “Kuchnia Filmowa” film-company.

Wiesław Zięba

Graphic artist, satirist, cartoonist, director of animated films. He made his debut in 1972 in “Szpilki” magazine. The same year he started to work at the Animated Film Studio in Bielsko-Biała and in 1983 he started to work at the Studio Miniatur Filmowych in Warsaw.

Witold Giersz

Director of animated films, one of the most important artists of Polish animation. At first he worked at the Animated Film Studio in Bielsko-Biała, from 1958 he started to cooperate with the Studio Miniatur Filmowych, he also worked with Studio of Animation Films in Poznan.

Włodzimierz Haupe

Director and screenwriter of animated and feature films. In 1943 he graduated from the School of Mechanical Engineering of the name of Wawelberg in Warsaw. From 1947 to 1947 he worked as a press correspondent in Czecho-Slovakia where he came into contact with animation techniques. He did his first movie with Halina Bielińska in 1949 in Switzerland.

Zofia Oraczewska

Director, stage designer and screenwriter of animated films. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (1956), a member of the Polish Filmmaker Association and the Polish Society of Authors and Composers.
